I already knew Amsterdam’s inhabitants had a passion for bicycles, and cars are there something exquisite, not well-looked at, since they are a big cause for pollution.
Thirty years from now, due to a new project, Amsterdam will only have electric vehicles on the streets: 200,000 of them. The electric car users will get discounts for parking tickets and will be given priority when applying for residents’ parking permits.
Let’s hope they will keep up to their plan, and will do that earlier than 2040, so we too can enjoy the pleasure of driving electric purebreads.
